DETAILS:

We've been exploring surf in Baja for a few decades, and we're still searching for a new corner of reef or a secluded beach break, hoping to discover 'the wave of our dreams.'  We found our fair share of epic sandbars, remote points, and empty perfection, and years of forecasting have us returning to some pretty special stretches of castline with minimal or no crowds. We travel in small groups to maintain a respectful reputation, and visit several points, beaches, reefs, and slabs in an off-road camping adventure, with amazing food and friends, non-stop wave searching adventure, and sunsets around the bonfire!

Bring your bag, wetsuits, and boards!

Hotel includes room with 2 queens and bathroom, dinner at the restaurant, beers and margaritas.

Camp includes a 3 season tent with our favorite modern air mattress, pillow and all linens / comforter.

Food includes all meals, snacks, drinks. We absolutely love large, healthy portions of nutritious food, authentic Mexican cuisine, tacos, cooked fish, fresh fish, steak, and vegetable over the campfire... we cover just about everything across the border, and have no problem cooking for vegans and gluten free diets.. Food Q & A

Waves range from intro level sand pointbreaks and beachbreaks, to reefy pointbreaks, heavy beachbreaks and slabs. Our mission is to check more than a dozen surf spots and surf as much as possible. Depending on the forecast we will discuss the spots before departure. Our booking form allows us to start planning your trip based on when you can travel.

Seasons: Year around travel with warmest water in July-November.

The Peninsula de Baja California has around 1900 miles of coastline, with more than 1000 miles of this coast exposed to an array of swells in the Pacific Ocean, and the other portion is bathed in the stunning warm waters of the Cortez Sea. This coastal desert of pristine beaches, wildlife, and cactus blossoms, stretches for hundreds of miles with networks of intricate coastal roads reaching remote bays and sandy points. These winding coastal paths were often created centuries ago and still used for fishing exploits, along with the occasional traveler, exploring far off the beaten path. This extensive coastline, and its variety of beaches and limited access, is home to some of the most exclusive waves on the planet.  Some are easier to access than others, some rarely surfed, and others barely explored, preserved by their remoteness.
